How It works

The Box scheme aims to provide our customers with a weekly delivery of seasonal produce containing vegetables & salads.Our fruit boxes will contain as much Kent fruit as possible, but as oranges etc do not grow in Kent we will use Organic/Fairtrade supplies to supplement.

The Boxes will be delivered to your home on Thursday or Friday depending upon where you live, or you can collect from The Old Dairy Shop from Thursday 1pm. Holidays etc can be ‘booked off’ by giving a weeks notice.

You are also able to add to your box via our online store, www.lovekentshop.com  and have those items delivered with your box. A check out option allows you to add the purchases to your box scheme delivery. As you have paid for delivery of your box, the extras attract free delivery. If you are not there we will leave any perishable goods in a cool box and pick up the following week.

So What’s in the Box?

The box will contain 5-9 different seasonal items. Staples include potatoes, carrots and tomatoes. In the summer months peppers, aubergines and courgettes make an appearance. In Autumn we get all the new season brassicas, root veg and squashes coming through.

You can specify up to 3 dislikes that will not be used in your box. Each week a newsletter will be produced, providing information and recipes for the current vegetables

All of the veg will be sourced fresh and local to the shop. By this we mean they are 100% Kent veg all year. We try to get as much organic produce as possible. We collect the produce on Wednesday, when the products are harvested for our collection, which ensures you get the freshest produce.

Sizes and Prices

There are 3 different sizes, and we can offer fortnightly delivery if required.

Small £8.00 suits 1-2 people
Medium £11.00 suits couple/small family
Large £14.75 suits large family

The prices are reduced by £1.00 if you pickup from The Old Dairy 

Payment

Payment is made by debit/credit card and is charged monthly in advance. You can advise us of any time off a week in adavnce, e.g. holidays, and any credits will be held and adjusted in the following month.
